10jan09 - Atttended a workshop on New Media by Avantus. The morning session took place at DBS building and lectured by Tan Tian An followed by tea-break and lunch.
The afternoon session followed at 15th floor of the CPF building. Workshop 2 by Ong Ai Lee was on GIMP and MS Animator, while Workshop 1 by Shubhada Bhide was on Social Networking tools like Facebook, Live Spaces, Blog and so on followed by a tea-break.
However, the morning session was slightly marred by a group of 3 girls who chatted & giggled away throughout, right behind me. I turned back and told them politely to be quiet, which they did for awhile and then continued.
Overall the workshop was good and a refresher for me. The food was great too.
